B i o g r a p h y

Kate lives in Piotrkow Trybunalski, near Lodz in central Poland. She studied transverse flute ( western Classical) in Music School. She has many professions: a Romanist (Jagiellonian University in Cracow), a specialist of international relationships (Lodz Academy of International Studies in Lodz) , a specialist of French language and Union Law (University of Lodz and Université Francois Rabelais de Tours).


The most important aspect of being for her is that in the course of her life, by taking on various interests, doing different often unrelated things, she invites the chance to and is able to develop her abilities, and discover the new, and the unknown, to come into full bloom, and enjoy every minute of her precious lifetime.


It is difficult to name all the kinds of music she appreciates; She can listen to Chopin for many hours and at the same time she admires music performed by David Gilmour, Bryan Ferry, Paula Cole, Peter Gabriel. There are many people who influenced her artistic life. Among them we could find the representatives of classical music such as: Edward Grieg, Claude Debussy, Gabriel Faure’, Fryderyk Chopin, C. Saint – Saens, Zbigniew Preisner and many others, as well as entertaining musicians e.g. Oleta Adams, Pink Floyd, Trevor Horn, Malene Mortensen, Bryan Ferry, Tears for Fears, U2 and many others.


There are many musical genres she performs. She is mainly interested in French songs, pop and gospel, however, she also feels a never-ending energy in soul and swinging. She sings in French, English, Italian and of course Polish. She also sang in German, Greek, Czech and Spanish taking part in a TV program “Europe- I like it” the episode entitled “Singing Europe”. She cooperates with many concert agencies in Poland.


At present she is working on her first solo album with a band of professional musicians such as Jakub Kępka, Marcin Tymanowski, Marcin Gliszczyński, Adrian Tymanowski. The album is expected to be released in March 2015.
